Adding Supplemental Wage Determinations (Conformance Requests)

In cases where a standard General Wage Determination sourced from sam.gov does not include a specific craft or classification needed for your project, a conformance request must be submitted to the Department of Labor (DOL). Once the DOL approves your request, you can add the supplemental wage determination to the platform to ensure your compliance reporting is accurate.

Adding an Approved Supplemental Wage Determination

This is managed on the Supplemental wage determinations page. You have two options for entering this data:

Option 1: Manual Entry

  1. Click Add a supplemental wage determination.

  2. Select the State and County.

  3. Choose the Wage Determination Revision this conformance modifies.

  4. Enter the Date of confirmation from the DOL.

  5. Under Job Classifications, enter the Primary and Sub-classification name, Base hourly rate, and Fringe benefits.

  6. Upload Documentation: You must upload a copy of the official DOL approval letter.

  7. Click "Save changes"

  3. Choose the Wage Determination Revision this conformance modifies.

  4. Enter the Date of confirmation from the DOL.

  4. Select the correct classification to link it to the employee.

Why is this necessary?

Reunion uses these custom entries to compare against submitted payroll data as if they were regularly published wage determinations. This ensures that employees in "conformed" roles are still correctly analyzed for prevailing wage compliance in your final PWA reports.

Audit Reminder: Always ensure the Date of Confirmation in your platform entry matches the date on your DOL approval letter, as this determines the effective date for the new wage rates.
